The Story of Chocolate Mike

It all started in July 2007, when we were at Mary's cabin on Lake Coeur d'Alene. Little Jennings found a dinosaur in Molly's geocache box, and he didn't want to give it up, so Molly let him play with it. Well, soon the adults started having fun with it, taking pictues of it in various poses and with various objects (especially beer). Ultimately, we just stole it from Jenning (yes, we did steal from a 2 year old; no, we don't have any morals) and decided that it would accompany us on any future trip we may take.

Chocolate Mike got his name when we took a break from boating and went to a restaurant for lunch. Jennings yelled that he wanted "Chocolate Mike" (translation: chocolate milk), and we decided it was the perfect name for a plastic dinosaur.

Through his travels, Chocolate Mike has picked up a few friends, so what started as a blog about a lone dinosaur has now turned into a blog about Chocolate Mike and His Posse.

Wild Women in Walla Walla - April 2009

Flo finds love

Flo went with Molly and her mom, aunt, sister to Walla Walla for their annual Girl's Weekend.

Flo helps Linda, G and Carrie finish off their beer samplers at Mill Creek Brewery.

Flo: Beer? I though Walla Walla was all about the wine?

Flo: That's more like it!

Flo: We stayed at the historic Marcus Whitman Hotel in downtown Walla Walla. Just lovely.

Flo: Molly had to take her aunt on a geocaching excursion. No new friends were found which was good because I didn't want to share this grand time with anyone else.
